We at TruthBegins.com are pleased to officially introduce a new columnist, Esoteric, to our readers.

Esoteric and I have collaborated together on many projects over the last decade and I am happy to have him onboard for this endeavor.  I think you will find his writing style both informative and entertaining, two defining traits of TruthBegins.com.

Hello readers – this is the initial post on the new blogging site TruthBegins.com.  As a lifelong techie, it was only a matter of time before I threw my hat into the blogospheric ring.  While I do have previous experience in journalism, this is my first online venture in several years, and I must say, the rules of the road have changed!  In my last online gig, I had to code the posting platform and article management system from scratch — today, Word Press, in conjunction with several nifty plug-ins, alleviate the bulk of the heavy programming.  With tools like this at one’s disposal, I can see why the number of online blog sites continues to skyrocket!

That said, I hope to develop this site into a unique brand – a clearer signal amongst the noise, if you will.  In earnest, the purpose of this site is to provide a creative outlet for my personal endeavours and to serve as a launching pad for future online projects.  I intend to post on a variety of topics: from my obsession with Duke Basketball to sports in general, from politics to noteworthy current events, from developments in Internet technology to reflections on personal experiences, and likely many more along the way…
